Perform static and fatigue analysis on primary structure for next-generation regional aircraft programs.
Responsibilities
- Run FEA for static, modal and fatigue load cases
- Generate stress reports to FAR 23 / 25 requirements
- Support test planning and failure investigation
- Collaborate with design engineering on mass reduction
Requirements
- MS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 4+ years structural analysis experience
- Proficiency with Nastran, Patran and Hyperview
- Knowledge of damage tolerance and fail-safe design
Nice to have
- Experience with composite structures
- DO-160 or DO-178 exposure
