Drive quality for body-in-white programs at a Tier-1 supplier, working directly with OEM customers on APQP and launch support.
Responsibilities
- Lead PPAP submissions and APQP phase gates
- Run 8D problem solving with cross-functional teams
- Conduct layered process audits and drive closure
- Support customer launches on site
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5+ years automotive quality experience
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
- Proficiency with CMM and gauge R&R studies
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- OEM launch experience
